Prepare answers to questions you think you might be asked
Use the same ‘STAR’ method from your CV preparation to think of a series of examples you can talk about.
Sometimes, it’s good to ask a friend or relative to pretend to interview you and ask questions. Most teaching interviews will ask you to prepare a presentation or micro teach.

Online interviews
Make sure you have the meeting details beforehand and take time to practice logging in.
It might mean downloading an app to your computer or mobile phone, so do that in advance. It is also good to know how to mute, un-mute and share your screen just in case too.
Face-to-face interviews
Make sure you know the location in advance. Prepare to leave a little extra time for getting through security.
An interview in a college will require sign-in at reception and someone to escort you around the premises.
